NOTICE – CALL FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST
Galbraith Field Memorial Gates Advisory Committee
July 22, 2026 - The Municipality of Morris-Turnberry is seeking expressions of interest from residents interested in serving on the Galbraith Field Memorial Gates Advisory Committee.
The Committee has been established by Council to review options for the future commemoration, restoration, reconstruction, relocation, or replacement of the Galbraith Field Memorial Gates and to provide recommendations to Council.
The Committee will consist of one member of Council and four members of the public. Preference will be given to applicants who can demonstrate knowledge of local history, heritage preservation, engineering/construction, fundraising, or community engagement.
The Committee is expected to meet as needed over a period of six months and will prepare a final report and recommendation for Council's consideration.
Committee members will serve as volunteers and receive no remuneration, honorarium, or reimbursement for their participation.
Residents interested in serving on the Committee are invited to submit a brief letter or email outlining their interest and any relevant experience.
Expressions of Interest must be received by 12:00 noon on August 5th, 2026, and must be submitted to:
