The Municipality of Morris-Turnberry is introducing a new look as it celebrates 25 years since the amalgamation of the former Townships of Morris and Turnberry.

Council has approved a new municipal logo and visual identity, replacing a logo that has remained substantially unchanged since amalgamation in 2001. The new design provides a modern and versatile identity while remaining connected to Morris-Turnberry’s rural heritage.

Inspired by the traditional Log Cabin quilt block, the logo represents home, stability and resilience. Its geometric design and earth-inspired colours reflect the Municipality’s agricultural landscape and natural environment, with blues representing water and stewardship, greens representing farmland and growth, and golds reflecting harvest and the changing seasons.

Residents will begin to see the new logo appearing on municipal communications, signage, vehicles and other materials. The transition will take place gradually as existing materials and assets are updated or replaced, helping to keep implementation practical and cost-effective.

After 25 years, our look may be changing, but Morris-Turnberry remains the same community we are proud to call home.
