Environment Canada has a high degree of confidence that a significant multi-day lake effect snow event will begin Friday, November 29th, 2024 and could continue well into the following week for the entire area including the Municipality of Morris-Turnberry.  

Public works staff may not be able to maintain roads to the level expected by road users.  

The OPP and the Municipality do not have the capacity to close and/or barricade all roads in the Municipality.  

We ask that you exercise caution and not travel unless it is safe to do so.  Using unbarricaded lower class roads to avoid road closures is not advised.
